Before Posting Jobs

Before you can post jobs on Jobly, you’ll need to set up some things first. Head over to [direction]Jobly > Settings[/direction]. There, you can add essential details in the General & Job Specifications section.

Admin Posting Jobs

  • Access the WordPress Dashboard: Login to your WordPress dashboard using your administrative credentials.
  • Navigate to Jobly: From the left-hand menu, go to [direction]Jobly > Add New[/direction]. This will open the job creation interface.

Fill in the following details about the job:

  • Job Title: Enter a clear and concise title that accurately reflects the position.
  • Job Description: Provide a detailed description of the job responsibilities, qualifications, and requirements. You can format the text and add images and videos for a richer experience.

Job Options: In this option, you can see there are two options available: General & Specifications.

General

In this section, you can:

  • Design your layout: Choose the visual format that best suits your job posting.
  • Company Details: Add key information about your company, including a link to your website.
  • Job Information: Fill in all the relevant details about the open position.

Specifications

In this section, you can define the key characteristics of the position:

  • Salary: Specify the salary range or compensation structure.
  • Job Type: Indicate whether it’s full-time, part-time, contract, or freelance.
  • Expertise: List the necessary expertise and knowledge for the role.
  • Duration: Mention if it’s a temporary, contract, or permanent position.
  • Location: Specify the physical workplace or remote work options.
  • Experience: Outline the minimum desired years of experience.

Once you’ve filled in all the job posting details, you can Publish or Update your changes. You can see it below:

      Hi Marek,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

      Currently, it’s not possible to post a job directly from the front-end. However, you can easily add jobs from the backend.

      We’re considering it for a future update. It may take some time, but we’ll keep you posted once it’s available.

        So, a registered company can’t post a job?

        It’s very important to let a company post a job directly from his dashboard.

        When this feature will be avaiblable?

          The front-end job posting feature is still under development and hasn’t been released yet. Currently, it’s in the testing phase. We’ll be releasing a new version very soon, which will include this feature.
