While internal documentation protects sensitive information, sometimes you need extra security. EazyDocs offers a password-protected system to keep your documentation safe, restricting access to WordPress documentation <\/a>that is available publicly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create Password-Protected WordPress Documentation <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n

From the [direction] WordPress Dashboard > EazyDocs Dashboard [\/direction] select the documentation you want to switch to a password-protected doc setting. Right next to the doc title, click on the arrow icon and click on the Visibility <\/em><\/strong>option.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

A prompt screen <\/span>\u2018<\/span>Visibility Options\u2019 <\/span>will show up; just select the <\/span>Password Protected <\/span>option and click <\/span>Update<\/span>. That\u2019s it. Your documentation is now password-protected, which can be tested by opening the doc in incognito.<\/span><\/p>

Individual documentation sections can be password-protected as well. To password lock any documentation section, hover over the <\/span>Visibility <\/span>option icon shown next to the section title.<\/span><\/p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

Clicking the Visibility <\/em><\/strong>option\u2019s icon will a prompt screen \u2018Visibility Options\u2019<\/em><\/strong> will show up. Just select the Password Protected <\/em><\/strong>option and click Update<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
