Please extract the zipped package downloaded from ThemeForest to your desktop. Inside the extracted package, you\u2019ll find the \u201clisty.zip\u201d file, also known as \u201clisty_main.zip\u201d, which contains the WordPress theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme can be installed in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WordPress upload \u2013 This method is likely the simplest for most users. Follow these steps:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Navigate to Appearance > Themes.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLog in to your WordPress dashboard, then navigate to \u2018Appearance\u2019<\/strong> in the left-hand menu, and select \u2018Themes\u2019<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Click on \u2018Add New\u2019.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

3. Clicking on the\u00a0Upload Theme<\/em>\u00a0button.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

4. Click on \u2018Choose File\u2019 and locate the listy.zip file.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After selecting\u00a0Upload Theme<\/em>, click\u00a0Choose File<\/em>. Select the theme .zip folder you\u2019ve downloaded, then click\u00a0Install Now<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Click\u00a0Activate<\/em>\u00a0once complete.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After clicking\u00a0Install,\u00a0<\/em>a message will appear that the theme installation was successful. Click\u00a0Activate<\/em>\u00a0to make the theme live on your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FTP<\/strong> Method<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re unable to install the theme using the previous method, you can attempt the following alternative method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Download the FTP Client to your computer.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To start this process, you\u2019ll need to download an FTP Client onto your computer. An FTP Client is a software tool that enables you to access, add, or delete files on your website server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Create an FTP account through your hosting provider\u2019s control panel or dashboard.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTo proceed, you\u2019ll have to access your hosting provider account via the FTP Client. Normally, setting up your FTP user account is done within your hosting dashboard, but the process varies across hosting providers. Typically, when you create a new account, the hosting provider provides you with a username and password, which you\u2019ll use to set up your FTP Client account.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Download your theme file and then extract\/unzip it.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you haven\u2019t already downloaded your theme file to your computer, please do so now. Some companies include additional files in the download folder, but you only need the .zip file for uploading your theme. After downloading your files, you\u2019ll need to unzip or extract the .zip file. You can accomplish this by right-clicking on the .zip file and selecting \u201cExtract.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. To install the theme, upload the theme folder to your WordPress dashboard.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In your FTP Client, locate the root directory of your WordPress installation. Then, navigate to the \u201cwp-content\u201d folder and select \u201cThemes\u201d. Upload the entire folder that you previously unzipped into this location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Activate After Completion <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After uploading the theme, you have to activate it. Navigate to the Appearance > Themes page from your WordPress dashboard to activate the theme.
