A contributor is someone who adds value to your doc by improving, updating, or providing suggestions for your documentation or published content.

In this section, we’ll show you how to easily add or delete contributors using EazyDocs’ contributor feature. This feature automatically detects doc authors, displays them on the front end, and allows them to add new docs or edit existing ones. Additionally, you can add or delete contributors from existing authors or users

How to Enable the Contributor Feature with Doc from EazyDocs Dashboard.

Follow the navigation to add the contributor feature [direction]EazyDocs > Settings > Docs Contribution[/direction]

After enabling the contribution feature, the front side will look like the image below

How to Add Contributors from the Frontend.

If you click on the arrow icon, you will see that the author of the document is set as a contributor.

Additionally, the dropdown list of all users on the site will be displayed.

From there, contributors can easily be added to the document via Email/username by clicking on the plus (+) icon. If needed, any contributor can also be removed from the document by clicking on the close (x) icon.
