The Contributor Profile Page in EazyDocs gives your team members the credit they deserve! It showcases valuable contributor information such as bio, job title, social links, and the number of doc’s they’ve contributed to. Here’s how to set it up and customize it.

How to View an Author’s Profile Page

To access the profile page of a contributor:

  1. Go to any Single Doc Page on your site.
  2. Click on a profile picture – this will redirect you to that author’s public profile page.

The profile page will show:

  • Number, list & link of docs contributed
  • Recent Activity
  • Job title
  • Biography
  • Total views of her contributed docs
  • Social media links (LinkedIn, Twitter, GitHub, etc.)

How to Add/Edit Profile Information

The information shown on the Contributor Profile Page is pulled directly from the user’s WordPress Profile settings. Here’s how to update that info:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Users > Profile (or Users > Your Profile).
  3. Fill in the following fields:
    • Job Title
    • Website
    • Biographical Info (this is your bio)
    • GitHub, LinkedIn, and Twitter usernames/URLs
  4. Click Update Profile to save changes.

Once saved, your public profile page will automatically reflect the updated information.
