Creating a New Documentation with EazyDocs

Summary: Start by clicking ‘Create A Doc’ in the EazyDocs dashboard. Enter your documentation title in the popup and press OK. Use ‘+ Add Doc’ for new documents and organize sections hierarchically.

Step 1: Create a Doc Article in Eazydocs

Go to the EazyDocs dashboard & click the ‘Create A Doc‘ button if this is the first document. A popup box will appear.

Now place your documentation title on the popup and press ‘OK

Step 2: Adding More Documentation to EazyDocs

To create another unique document click on the ‘+ Add Doc‘ button and follow the same process from step 1.

Step 3: Adding a new Section

To create and add items & pages on each documentation, select the parent documentation. Then click the ‘Add Section‘ button to create a section.

A similar popup will appear, now enter the title of your item title in the popup box and click the ‘OK‘ button.

Step 4: Adding a Child Page/Section to a Parent Documentation

To create a child page/nested item under a section, hover over the section title and click on the ‘+‘ icon. Add your item title for this page and press ok. This will be your actual article and will be hierarchically organized under its parent.

Step 5: Editing Documentation with content

To edit an article, click on the section dropdown, select the title of the article you want to edit, and it will open a WP block editor screen.

From the WordPress block editor screen, craft your documentation with text, images, videos, EazyDocs & Gutenberg widgets.

After you have finished writing the article/documentation, click the ‘Publish‘ button located in the top right corner. Now repeat the process from EazyDocs dashboard to create more.
